The last bat I have purchased was an Easton Zcore 3 or so years ago. I spent $200 on the bat only to have it lose most of its pop after 1 season. I'm looking to buy a new bat and have narrowed my choices down to the '07 DeMarini Vexxum, '07 Easton Connexion Comp., or a Louisville bat such as the '07 Omaha or '07 Dynasty. After already wasting money on 1 Easton bat, I am wary of buying the Connexion. However, both the Connexion and Vexxum seem like good bats for the money as they are both in the $160-$180 range while the Louisville bats are a bit more expensive.

For those who have or have used Easton and Louisville bats in the past...How do the lifespans of Easton bats compare to Louisville bats?

For those who have either the '07 Vexxum or the '07 Connexion Comp., what are the pros and cons of each bat? Which bat (Vexxum or Connexion) would you recommend?

ive had the 2005 easton stealth since it first came out and i have had no problem with it losing its pop. it still hits like it did back then. it may be that im a contact hitter and not a power hitter, but it may just be that the old connexion's werent of as good of quality. the CXN comp is a really good bat i kno of a couple people who have them and they are pleased with the bat. as far as louisville sluggers go, i kno a few people who have the '06 dynasty, a few with the '07 EXO and 1 with the newer dynasty. they all are good bats with lots of use and are all still going strong. there really is no bad choice that you can make between the two companies as long as you go with something over about $150.
