Comments on this swing?

14 YO only playing for 3 years... Any comments on how to make the swing better? I have posted a "miss" and a hit for comparison. We try out for the High School team in a month an a half ... trying to make it!

Good swing...Miss looked like he pulled his head out a little.Hit might have been gone if he did not open his hips up so early and much. I like my son to keep his front foot pointed to first or between 1-2 at the end of his swing. He also starts with both feet slightly pointed in, this keeps him from opening up and starts his back foot on the correct rotation. Some like it some don't,I like my son in nthe loaded position so his head moves very little when the ball is coming out of the pitchers hand.Most important thing is that your son is comfortable with his batting approach/ swing.
