Been studying a lot of baseball hitting websites out there. I know hardly anyone ever posts in this forum thread, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. Wondering what thoughts are on the various batting systems out there- obviously with the understanding that there is a big difference of opinion between rotational and linear hitting, along with those making a hybrid of the two. Let me know your thoughts, if you have anything you'd like to add. Here are a few:

1. Epstein Rotational
2. Parker hitting system
3. Joe Brockhoff 8 step system
4. Chris O'Leary
5. Swing Smarter Baseball
6. Ceballos' the Swing Mechanic and positional hitting
7. Mankin bat training
8. and a bunch of others

I like the Brockhoff hitting system. It seems to teach a short stroke to the ball which will help alot vs. better pitching. I'm not very familiar with the other ones listed....sorry.

We all know that loops and other long swings are not good when you face good pitching.... the Brockhoff system does a good job of teaching kids how to go short to the ball.....

My kid is working on it and doing well.... how about the others? Anyone?

I like the Epstein Rotational. I see to many kids out on the front foot with knee bent from weight transfer and not enough emphasis on turnning sooner with a linear swing.
