anyone know how many swings to take to "break-in" a new bat? I heard somewhere that you should break it in with like 30-40 swings. its the stiff flex stealth btw.
------------------
..from what has been reported....100's of swings before it is in tune.
One guy said 300-400 good hits.
-------------------
Word is the one-piece aluminum alloy bats take a little longer than the composite handle or 'two-piece' bats. It may need hundreds of good swings for a -3 bat but the senior league -8 bats don't have more than 300 solid line drives in them.
--------------------
what about a little league -12.5? Should this bat be "broken" in?
