New bat - COMbat B1

Hello All,

I have a question concerning a new composite "Big Barrell" bat. It is called the COMbat B1 (composite B1SL1 -10). What I have heard about this bat, is that it creates an enormus amount of power / pop. This bat is so good that when a player who owned one of these bats got sick and could not go to a tournment, he stayed home but his bat went with the team. My background is I am an ex-high school coach who now coachs a 10U travel team in North Florida. Any info you can give me concerning this bat would be greatly appreciated. It will be for my grandson. Currently he is using a Rawlings Liquid Metal Plasma "Big Barrell" which in my opinion is a great youth bat. Thanks ...

I have a couple of B1 Dabombs bats from Combat! Very nice bats! I actually prefer the Anderson TZXP's for any kids 12 and under!

The Combats have a litlle bit bigger sweet spot, but the Anderson's will give you more distance! I truly believe the distance comes from the way the Andersons are end weighted! The Andersons will also have a better durability than the Combats!

These bats from Combat have been out a while, not really a "new" bat!

Combat and Anderson are not huge companies like other manufacturers that have been out a while, that is why they are not that well known! This is what I would do if I were you ( I am a coach of an 11 yr old travel team as well! ), Anderson has a 30 day money back guarentee, if you do not like their bats send it back for a refund or exchange it for the Combat!:cool:

How would you compare the Burn ESD to the Anderson. Burn claims to have the biggest barrel on the market

I haven't got to try out the new burn model! I don't think the barrel is any bigger than the Combat B1 12" barrel though!
