Note: This thread was brought over from the old message board.
My son used a 32" Liquid Metal 2 last year with very good results. He has grown almost 6" since then... He is now 15, 6' 4" tall, weighs 205 and it's time for a new bat. We are considering a 34" Louisville EXO, Rawlings Fusion or the Miken Burn... Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.
----------------------------
if hes a power hitter, the 34" exo is perfect. if not then the new stealth thats coming out may first.
----------------------------
From what I hear about the Exogrid it is not durable. Great pop out of the wrapper but it does not last.
-----------------------------
That's the first I've heard regarding the EXO not being durable. Is that 1st hand experience? If so, was it used by the entire team or just your son and for how long before the problems began? Thanks for the input. Any other thoughts on the Fusion or Burn out there?
------------------------------
I have heard that the LS exogrid is the best bat on the market right now. I have a stealth and I am not terribly impressed - tho I have only used for a short time and have always been very happy w/ easton in the past.
Someone said the new easton is coming out may 1st- so maybe wait for that

how do u know its not durable if it just came out? to know if a bat is durable you have to have used it for atleast a season.
------------------------------
Everyones saying theres a new easton coming out. why cant i find it anywhere? its not even on the easton website. i watched a college game that featured it though. everyone could find the plasma fusion and it doesnt ship for another 3 - 4 weeks. does anyone have a link to this bat?

MLBMVP, eastbay.com has all the new bats right now and its the only place ive seen them. they have the new nike torque the new miken, rawlings fusion, worth. there isn't any sites for the 07 eastons b/c they are not out yet. hope ive been helpful.
