I need some advice. My 11 yr old son wants a new bat. I am trying to decide between the LCN4 all composite bat or the LST6 which has composite handle andthe sc900 scandium alloy barrel.

Any opinions? The LST6 is about $70 cheaper but I don't want that to be the reason for the decision.

I wasn't sure either which bat to get but after looking here and a few other sites I decided on the comp. He started using it in late Aug thru fall ball and he hit his first 2 home runs with it he's 9y/o the bat has an incrediable sweet spot. The cost factor , I bought mine on E-bay and was able to get it for $185 that puts it in the range of the other bats. Hope this helps.

So you bought the LCN4 all composite bat? Just making sure you have the 2007 model with the composite barrel. How durable is the bat, any signs of cracks etc?

Durability and how much pop it had was my main concern with the all composite barrel.

Yes I purchased the the all comp bat LCN4 but I bought it in late July early August 2006. So I don't know what model year but it hasn't shown any signs of wear. He played AAU ball went to his last tourney the weekend before Halloween. He also played fall ball for our local league the bat seems to be fine. I did buy a bat sleeve like golf glub protectr to keep it warmer it was $14. Just to give you a little info he has swung a vexxum F2 and this bat is the best buy far.
