The Worth Lithium AMP bat we received for my 11-year old son was initially replaced after it cracked following only two hitting sessions, and I hoped the replacement bat would be of better quality. While my son did get about three months use out of the second bat during the spring season and several hitting sessions over the summer, the second bat also cracked. Responses from Worth merely said since they only guaranteed one replacement, nothing else could be done even though they evidently are putting out a shoddy product. Steer clear of Worth.

Which company has the best customer service for youth bats in terms of replacements? How are Combat's and Louisville's policies for composites in particular?
BTW, I recently bought an old (2004) shiny blue Worth Copperhead NOS -12 (27/15) CU31 (same as 7050 alloy) on eBay for $25. So far it's held up in live BP with real LL baseballs.

Anderson and Combat probably have the best customer service. I've dealt with the rest and never had any problems, I have heard horror stories about Louisville Slugger but don't know how true that is.
I did recently get a replacement from Worth for an older $50 copperhead and they sent me a $200 replacement bat, no problems what so ever. As for angry customers, all bat companies have a standard warranty replacement with usually one bat only, Easton is 2.
I own the Worth Lithium, no durability issues but then again we use our bats for game use only. I think thats the biggest mistake nowadays, kids using their bats from everything to batting cage, practice, games.
The alloys of today are thinner walls not like the bats we grew up with so they can't take a lot of excessive abuse.

Union -
.
We have a number of small Worth bats - 25 - 29" (and a few bigger). Both kids used these bats primarily when they were 5, 6, 7 yrs old (etc.). (So I am very familar with small Worth bats).
.
We also have a Worth Copperhead 27-15 .... blue .... kid used it season before this past season. Was also purchased on ebay ... I believe it was $25 BIN (and could have been a BIN-BO of $20). Thie bat we have may be the same bat you are describing. My kid noticed the blue 27-15 Copperhead felt/swung a tad heavier than 15 oz (and also possibly a tad end weighted - odd for a standard aluminum bat). I also noticed this when comparing to a few other bats. Just wanted to mention this to you.
.
btw - he used the 27-15 blue Copperhead when he was 7 yrs old and did well with it. He also used a red 27-14 Coppherhead and a 27-15 Wicked Insanity (Composite).

Yes, my son did mention the 27-15 blue Copperhead swung heavy, as compared to his Easton Triple 7 Scandium 27-14.5. I didn't think 1/2 oz would make that much of a difference in feel, so I tried to measure the static balance point between the 2 bats. I just balanced each bat on my finger until the handle and barrel were completely horizontal (level to earth). The balance points between the 2 bats were very close to each other. I don't know how else to measure dynamic balance, swingweight, or MOI. He still has 5 more months before the season starts. Hoping he hits a growth spurt so that handling a 15 oz end loaded bat won't be an issue.

kid eventually moved from the 27-15 Worth Copperhead to a 28-15 LS TPX Dynasty .... ( 2006 model - blue ) .... and then to a 28-15.5 LS TPX Omaha XS Scandium ( 2006 model - red ) .... and then ... (etc.) ....
.
his fav 27" bat was a Worth Wicked Insanity (composite) .... ( 2005 model - red metalflake barrel ) .... he liked the feel and the bat had great pop .... problem was that just about every other kid on the team liked the bat - and a few were swinging the bat recklessley at/near the dugout fences, etc - so I had to yank it from his bag and save it for more 'meaningful' games .....
.
btw - found the 28-15 2006 TPX Dyanasty on ebay a few years ago for $50 (NOS) ....
