Pitching machine balls will damage a composite bat faster than anything else. Not only that those rubber/urethane/dimple balls can actually create dead spots resulting in less performance out of the bat. Just stick with regular game ball batting practice.
When you have time give us a review on how the bat is preforming for you. I would like to know how it compares to the other bats being used on your team. I've been debating with a friend if these younger kids are actually strong enough to flex the walls of a coach pitch composite.

i understand batting cage balls such as dimple balls will damage bats. i am talking about using these coach pitch bats in games where a real baseball is used in a pitching machine

game balls are fine, i've seen a few coach pitch bats mainly the miken one but not enough to make an impression on them.
like i said i don't think these kids are strong enough to flex the walls much less damage these bats.

a moving ball is a moving ball, dont matter if it is coming out of a machine or a coaches hand. whatever you get it will be fine, unless it's the CP91, then it dont matter. Its gonna crack sooner rather than later. Speakin of that, my son's got tossed from a game yesterday cuz it was cracked. But it was nice while it lasted. :D Off it went today to try one of these Tritons.
