For the last 4 years, I've played in a wooden bat league thats assoicated with NABF. However, last year, I decided to create my own team. We didn't play that well, but alot of it was the adjustment from aluminum to wood.
I have two questions to ask anyone who knows more than I do. What would your suggestions be for buying team bats. As in, Any certain companys I may be better off going through and should I buy them in bulk (how many as well).
Also, would it be wise to buy some on my own during the fall & winter months to stock up on some bats for the upcoming season.
Thanks everybody who replyes or reads this.

Hey OprtnShtdwn,
Our team uses Annex Maple Bats. They have Free shipping so that is awesome for us, and the wood is great. Our team has been using them for 2 years now, with noe complains. Their website is http://www.annexbaseball.com I hope this helps.

I play in a wood bat league and more than half of my teammates prefer to use MetalWood Bats, including myself. You can get some pretty good deals if they have specials running and if you call and ask they usually give a great 5 bat discount depending on the time of year.
Oh, and they never break.

Hey Oprtn: This is John MacDougall of MacDougall & Sons Bats. See my previous post on our PowerWood bats. The coach for Drake HS of the Marin County Athletic League just ordered a dozen bats to outfit his Varsity, JV an Frosh teams. (MCAL is all wood). Also, Team Vegas, that plays in the CCAL (summer collegiate ball) is ordering about a dozen for their team for the whole season.
Many of the testimonial on my site are adult league players. Feel free to contact me at John@MacDougallBats.com if you'd like to discuss a team deal. Cheers.

I am late to this thread but just wanted to plug my favorite composite bat company...Haag Bat Company. No...I do not work for them nor do I have any affiliation. I started playing wood bat baseball last year and tried several wood bats including louisville slugger, phoenix bat, and my favorite...rockbats. Broke at least one of each in one season. I still have a rockbat but swing the haag bat during bp and anytime I am struggling at the plate. It has seen a lot of cuts and mishits and is still going strong. Best $120 I have spent on a bat yet.

I bought too at Annex Baseball. Great service and quality bats, nope I'm not working for them, its just that most of my bat collections were bought from them. And that is what I am using for my lessons for hitting techniques (http://www.softballhittingonline.com/).
