Anyone have any knowledge of this bat? My son has outgrown his 28" stealth. It has been a good bat, held up well. softball-bats.org has the v12 for $90 (blem). What do you guys think? I'd like to stay around $100. thanks

This is the season to find them. Actually the cheap season starts right around the end of regular Little League season. I found a barely used Stealth, the -13 one with the blue handle and gold barrel, for $25. The same place had the older TPX Exogrids for $99, Omaha Comps for $79, green Catalysts for $99, and -10 TPX Tritons (which I bought) for $150. That was at a Play it Again Sports. I've since seen the Tritons for $99 or package of two for ~$150 at Justbats.com.
Anyways, no real help here other than to say that you should shop around and be a little patient. There are a ton of good deals out there right now and you should be able to score something great for $100.
BTW, we had a nice selection of composite bats, including a B1, a Stealth IMX and several Catalysts, but some of my kids fell quickly in love with that $25 Stealth. It has a tiny sweet spot but the ball really jumps off of it.
the v12 is bad about getting rattles inside of it. I wouldn't purchase a blem for that price because they have a 90 day warranty vs the 400 day warranty, if I recall correctly.

(If a warranty ever expires on a bat)
For rattles all you have to do is pull the plug or rod out from the bat's knob and let the substance fall out which is usually dried glue or foam...problem solved:)
I have purchased blems for years and never had any problems with them. I buy bats from this site all the time, Roy will take care of you, very fast shipping, great deals and good customer service!
I am PRO EASTON, for baseball & fastpitch we exclusively use the connexion, stealth & synergy lines but don't care too much for the new alloys. Easton's main focus is developing their composite lines.
I see the Exogrid, F2 and Voodoo(godson's fav) are within the same price range, any of these 3 will be a good choice with plenty of proven feedback.
They also have the Demarini chute on sale for $10 which is great for adding bat speed & power through the contact zone. I have used these for years.
