Nike aerofuse

anyone have any experience with this bat? I have never seen it but my kid used a friends in bp and came home loving it. needless to say he now wants it. so before I buy it got to find out if it is worth the 250 price tag. what do you guys think? looking at getting the nike aero fuse cx2 any input would be a huge help. thanks

Not to sound like a smart a$$ - but no youth league bat is worth $250. Not to me at least.

Better to find a high-end bat at closeout (bat that is suited for the kid).

My local (San Jose, CA) Sport Authority had an older Aero Fuse (not the CX2 model) on closeout for $99. You might want to check your local store. Or I can buy it and resell to you for $250... :p

Never pay retail!!!! Those $250-300 bats can always be purchased cheaper. I have a collection of over 20 baseball & softball bats all top of the line, most I ever paid $130. There are great deals out there if you look for them!

Another interesting tidbit...Nike composites are made by CE Composites(Combat)

we bought the bat a couple days ago, doesnt look anything like a combat. more like a demarini or easton stealth. it has a very unique sound but the ball does jump off it and the boy loves it. it has given him a little more energy to go to practice and cages.
