Triton CPXP 10.5 Bat

Louisville Slugger told me that this bat was on backorder, but it should be ready in a couple of weeks. I was also told that this bat was replacing broken Omaha cp-91 bats. Does anyone have this new bat, and how does it compare to the cp-91.

i have known bout this bat for a few months. LS did not receive them till the 28th of last month and they should be available from retailers now. Their goal with this bat was to correct the durability problem with the CP91 with the least amount of drop in performance. It resulted in going from 11.5 to 10.5 drop and 2 3/4 barrel to 2 5/8 barrel. The word i have got is that the performance level is very comparable to the Omaha. I have not seen it myself but am eager to see. They also when from Omaha to Triton to separate the confusion between the omaha aluminum and composite. Which i experienced myself quite often last year. alot of parents that know just enough to think they know what they are talkin about thought they could get a CP91 for 90 bucks. :rolleyes:
