Anyone have an experience with the new 2010 Anderson Techs? Any diff. than the 08/09 models?

Yes: there is a significant difference between this bat and the other Techzillas (he's using a 31/22). I'm not one for hyperbole, but the ball is flying further off this bat than other Techzillas as well as his Easton Stealth IMX (also 31/22), and the ball has more power coming off the bat, i.e., the first bounce from a line drive has tremendous energy. I'm seriously questioning if the BESR is correct.
As for comparisons: not only superior to the 08/09 models, but superior to the 06/07 models (which have a terrific reputation). And here's the kicker: so far, it's not denting. Too soon to tell, but not denting. Comparison to other brands: superior to Stealth IMX, superior to Combat B1, superior to F2, CF3.
Additional note: stating the obvious here but if he doesn't hit right on the "sweet spot", the result is either a pop-up (much higher than usual) or a ground ball. Upside to the ground ball is that it is moving fast and getting through the infield. Little room for error, i.e., my impression is that the sweet spot is smaller (smaller relative to other 2 1/4"). So if his hands are lagging behind the hips (disconnected), then the mishit occurs, as compared to the Stealth IMX big barrel where he may get away with it, as well as the other 2 1/4" bats.
I think I'm positioning myself as the Master of the Obvious with the aforementioned paragraph, but I really do believe that the sweet spot is smaller on this bat. I'm certain the Engineers in the audience will counter that belief.

Thanks for the info.
Ya, I love the anderson bats. My son has used the 06 to the 09 techs and ya, if it hits the sweet spot it really goes. unfortunately it doesn't have the biggest sweet spot. My son actually started using the B2 this season because he wanted to get more base hits instead of a HR here and there and less base hits over all. He still hits HR's with his B2, they just go 225 LF instead of 245.
I was just wondering how the 2010 Tech., compared to the 08/09 Techs and it sounds like they have definitely improved them. I emailed Anderson and they basically just said, 'yes we improved them or we wouldn't have made a new version.'
thanks again!
