Is there any way to add weight to a bat? My son is 4'9" 98lbs, has a B1 29/19, only used it a couple of months. I'm wishing I would've have went a bit heavier. He's got great bat speed so he pulls most balls, a lot foul. He also hits a lot off the end of the bat.

I can't afford another bat so my only other option is to sell it. He broke the thumb on his catching hand the other day so he might be out for the season.

Pulling the ball doesn't always indicate a fast bat speed, it could be his timing is off. Teach him to sit back and take the ball up the middle.

Sell the bat and but another one if you need more weight. You don't give your son's age but he sounds like he'd be in the 29-30 inch range and 19oz shouldn't be too light.
