Great bat for the bigger/stronger kids. The CF4 isn't as end weighted as the CF3 according to a friend of mine that coaches an elite team. The two best players on the travel team a year above us use the CF4 and they mash the ball.

One of the kids on our team got one. Really nice bat....he's hit 3 out on 225 (11yrs old) since he got it in the last couple weeks, and only 1 all season previously with his '08 CF3. Not that it means anything, but it does seem to have really good pop. All the other kids are jealous :D

Our experience with the CF4 has been that the finish on the bat is of poor quality. It looks great out of the wrapper, but give a it a few whacks, and the finish starts to chip and peel. This has been true of 3 bats so far. One bat had to be returned due a cracked barrel.

As for pop, maybe we need to break it in, but it's not the same as the B2 or CF3. A few of our bigger hitters have tried one out and they all agreed it's not hot right now.

Hope this helps.

My son has a teammate that just got a cf4. He went through 3 cf3's (cracking, due to colder weather).

His dad says it easily hits 10-15 feet further than his well broken in cf3. The kid hit a line drive rocket past 2nd base last week and the ball went all the way to the fence.

Easily much hotter out of the wrapper than the cf3 broken in. The thing is a monster.

we are finding that out (that it is hot) and it will make a tink sound if off of the sweet spot and a tunk sound that equals "Huston we have take off"
