Does anyone know how the old Hickory maple bats compare to the maple X-Bats????
Does the ball explode off the Old Hickory bats as it does off the X-Bats????

I think that sambats actually provide the best wood bats on the market at this time.

Those would be Sam Bats made Ottawa Canada the original maple bats corp that introduce it to Major leagues. One simple question from Bill Mackenzie ( Colorado Rookies ) to Sam Holman an expert woodcaver that they were breaking to many bats could anything be done and the Maple bat was born. Introduce in the Major and approved many of the most feared hitters in game today are using Sambats Barry Bonds, Albert Pujols and Manny Ramirez to name a few. These are the best wooden bats in the game today.

Barry Bonds uses a Sam Bat. by the way 129 bucks for a wood bat is a rip off

Guys, look at NY Stixs. Andre the owner is a former college ball player and makes a major league grade bat for $55 for Maple and $40 for Ash. Doesn't have Major League certification, but that is why his bats aren't $90 like the other certified manufacturers. I would put one of his bats up against any Major League certified bat anyday and prefer to swing it.
Sam Bat is the one with the wings. Their bat is NOT worth $129. I have swung one and there is no noticable difference that they have compared to any other maple bat.
