Awesome Rare TPX Catalyst Youth Bat [Archive]

Last spring (2008) I came across a New In Wrapper 2006 Yb106 "yellow" TPX Composite Catalyst 28" 15 oz. youth bat. My son used it for one season of pitching machine and loved it. Great POP!. From what I have read, this year (2006) of Catalyst bat has a better reputation than the newer ones. He started playing travel ball this fall and his coaches started putting heavier bats in his hands because of his size 4' 5" 73lbs. just turinng 8 and has adapted well to a little heavier bat. For this reason we are parting with his Catalyst. As I said it has great pop. He hit the ball literally at will, first pitch 99% of the time. I was a little concerned how he would react to a yellow bat but once he realized what he was doing with it, he didn't care and the other teams knew who the kid was with the yellow bat. I'm not sure if you'd be interested, but I've got a 2008 Catalyst 29/17 I bought brand new last season that i might be willing to trade for it. My oldest son has since outgrown it, but it is still too big for my youngest son who just turned seven.
