Combat TRUMP?

Does anyone know anything about the Combat Trump? I have only seen them on eBay, and can't find any other info. My son currently has a B1 Da Bomb and loves it.

That is an Anaconda Sports special edition B1YB. Same bat with different paint job. Anaconda sports and Combat have a long relationship and frequently roll out Anaconda Combat Bats..

Thanks guys- I came across it listed as a Trump B1. It didn't occur to me that it could be a special branded edition. My son loves his 29/19 B1, and I am considering adding a 30/18. The Trump maybe the route we'll go.

Did you get the Trump Combat or the B1? I am interested in the 31/19 and I can get either. My concern with the Trump is because it is thru Ebay and if the bat breaks I may have more trouble getting a replacement. I've heard they crack often.

I decided to stick with the Combat B1 rather than the Combat Trump. Here's why...

I found thru Combat that the Trump is NOT made by Combat so they cannot specifically say that the bats are equal and just re-labeled! Combat has a deal with Anaconda and they (Anaconda) are either making the bats themselves or having some 3rd party make them using the same mold as the B1. They may be exactly the same, better or worse but who knows? Sounds like a generic equivelent to me.

My other reason to stay away is with the warranty. If the bat breaks/cracks/etc (and they have been known to do so), I can send the bat to Combat but because it is the Trump, it gets sent to Anaconda who has to replace it with another Trump! Anaconda has zero Trumps right now, although I have found them thru an Ebay store that has some ties to Anaconda. If they sellout and don't produce more until December, what do they replace it with? The B1 will be replaced with another B1, but if it is unavailable Combat will get me something from them.

Too many risks with the Trump, and it costs the same.

The B1 is a great bat but it cracks like crazy. We cracked 6 bats as a team in two months. Great bat made like crap. And when you use the warranty once you are screwed, and that has happened six times also.

Say what you will about Combat bats. My son loves his and I will be buying another one shortly

Well even Combat admits they have issues with cracked bats. They said they are aware of the problems. As I just had to call to send another one back in. They are even having trouble getting the new B2 approved.

My son still loves his B1, it is just time to move up a size. He is ready to go 30/20 and they were a little hard to come by. The B1 seems to be back in stock most places, so we will be sticking with it. We love the B1! We hit alot- kid pitch, coach pitch, off tees, soft toss- and no cracking here.
