New Bat for 9 yo son

I am trying to decide which bat to buy for my 9 yo son. He is 5' 130 lb. Torn between a Combat B1 29/19 Combat 30/20 or Mattingly Beast 30/20. Any ideas?

He has lost weight recently, swimming all summer. Currently has a Combat 29/17.

I was going to say...Another giant kid! Anyone have a average size kid besides me?

As for you question, I haven't tried either of the bats you mentioned but obviously have heard a lot about the Combat bats. My son currently used an Anderson Techzilla but also really like the Demarini CF3.

a 30-18 will work also. If he is 5' at 9yrs then, (my son was that size) he will probably keep on going by next summer.

We have both, the Combat and the Beast. Both are similar in distance, we hit both, though in games my son prefers the B1. Both of ours are the -12 drop. My 8 yr old is only 4-9 and 95lbs, those 9 yr olds you guys have are huge.

LOL, yeah they were. My son is 10 now and is 5'5" 150. But here in ohio we grow them big. There are plenty of big boys this size around here.
