Worth AMPYB

I just bought my son a Worth AMPYB (-11) 29/18. I couldn't afford the higher end bats and I got this on ebay brand new for $50. He's 10 yrs old, around 4' 5" and has good bat speed.

Does anyone have any experience with this bat?
Any other recommendations for cheaper good quality bats?

Worth has been making some very good bats and the Amp I think was a pretty good one, never used one or seen one but reviews are pretty good

My 9yr Old just started using his Amp Hybrid 30-19. In BP he has shown some High Quality Power shots. He used it in game for the first time last night. 1-3 ... swang at non-strikes and barely hit them. Very Poor selection of what to swing at, and he knew it. My oldest sons travel team has a Big Barrel that has alot of pop and power.

I think the bat most likely has a break in period also .... because it seamed like after hitting 20-25 ... the next few seam to jump off the bat better ?

So far he loves this bat. He's used it in two games, a triple and two doubles, 6 rbi. Seems to have good pop and a solid feel. He also said it hasn't stung at all.
