I have an old baseball bat. I have googled every bit of info about it and come up with nothing.
Maybe someone out there can direct me to a site that can help.
The Manufacture lable is oval named Varc_? . It says Fred Varney __?.. around the top of the lable. Saint Louis, Missouri around the bottom of the label.
At the end of the bat , it says Professional Model , Babe Ruth Type.
Its 35 in, and i'd have to say 42 oz. weight like Ruth used. Its very heavy. dark brown in color.
Any help would be really apprieciated, or anyone that i can contact the would know of any history about this Co. in St. Louis.
