bat choices

My son just turned 7, 4'3" 58 lbs. He has been using a 27" reflex this year. I am thinking about getting him a new bat, but don't want to go too heavy.
I am not sure if I would be better off getting a 28" that is lighter or another 27". A 27" limits the options more.
Is there any way to tell how the bats are balanced?
I would prefer a well balanced to end loaded.
I have read the akadema bats are balanced but haven't found a local dealer are there any other recommendations of balanced bats?
