Is there any real differenc in batting glove quality?

YES! some are sticky like under armor I believe or Nike, some are well padded and can be used for extra cushioning in your fielding glove such as TPX® Bionic Series Protective Glove. Some players say certain models have stitching or seams that irritate their hands. My son loves the Easton VRS PRO gloves. He uses 1 in his fielding glove and at the plate, only uses 2 when hitting with wood.

also liked the VRS Pro gloves and used them all winter. For games he uses the Rawlings with the palm pad, because his fielding glove is also a Rawlings (Gold Glove Series). He likes the Rawlings as well.
