College Teams use Aluminum bats

Does anyone know why all the college teams use Aluminum bats and never composite bats? Some do you half/half but always with an Aluminum barrell?

Any thoughts?

Aluminum don't need to be replaced as often. Most teams get a certain # of bats for a season. Could have something to do with exit speed(most likely) standards.

just take a look at fresno state college baseball team, their using stealth comps.

i remember seeing a rice and lsu game and rice used easton stealth comps. but lsu was also using comps.

rice is known for using TPX bats

I have seen several teams use the Blue/Orange Easton Stealth Comp, but have never seen a Catalyst, Triton, ect.
