I have bought a virus which is too heavy for my son... it was never used in game just about 40-50 attempts to hit in practice.

There is scuff or two and a small hairline crack or line on the surface of the bat.

Just wondering what a fair price might be?

Of course gave around 240-250 for it so I know there is a good depreciation on a out of the wrapper bat.

If it's cracked you'll be lucky to get $20 for it. Your best bet is to send it back to Combat for warranty replacement, thats if you have a dealer reciept, then sell the replacement bat. If not your gonna have to take a loss. Even then selling the replacement it will have a red knob to indicate it's a replacement with no warrenty. Based on the history of thin wall composites and lack of warrenty you may get $100 for the replacement unless you can fins a sucker. You can always try craigslist.org and try to sell it on there.
