hey,
i'm getting a new 34" for summerball and next senior year, but i'm torn between the 1 piece v12 and synergy, both made by easton. I have my mind set on a very stiff 1 piece bat with a nice tappered handle. I've swung composite many times and have been fairly pleased, but i have always been bias towards high quality alloy bats. I'm goin down to soCAL for a few showcases and i'm down to throw up to $400 on a bat my last year in high school.
I used my brand new 34" dynasty towards the end, previously using 33" dynastys freshman-junior year, of this year and hit some blasts I never thought i was able to; 10-15 ft shots over our 381ft porch so i'm set on a 34" but i have no idea if i should pick the composite or v12 alloy. anyone have some good insight on these two bats? I don't like the way tpx is heading with multi piece bats, being the 1 piece enthusist that i am so could somebody help me out here? i'm 6'4" 210 if that helps.
thanks guys

I dont know much about the bats but i do know composite is the way to go so i think you should get the synergy.

Have you swung them? I am betting the synergy is going to feel as heavy as a 34, it is somewhat endloaded.

I would go with what feels right, then one piece and then depending on how quick your showcases are, composite. You need to have 100+ hits to break in a comp so do you have enough time?

Remember - You hit the ball. The bat is the tool. If the bat does not feel right, what is the point of all the technology?

i've used composite before 100 swings (horrible)
and after 100 swings (pretty good) but iv'e never been impressed with composite. I won';t deny that composite bats has incredible durability and gain pop after use, but I'm really eager to know about the 1 piece V12. has anyone used this bat? keep in mind i'm using a 34" this year and want the stiffest bat possible. 100 or 95 flex rating in my opinion.

Since you are swinging a rather long bat you should go with the v12.
the v12 is more durable and you obviously hit for alot of power and the
v12 will help with that.

but just a little side note, the best bat on the market right now is by far the demarini f3.
extremely expensive, ($674.99 list price) but places like fogdog.com offer it for $399.99
