Nice to see use of wood bats. Meijer sells the Rawlings Big Stick Little League model up to 30 inch long for $15 (thru today 40% off with flyer coupon in store). On my crude scale the 30 inch weighed about 24 oz. Nice northern ash, good looking bat.

Christine -

Sincere apologies but just spotted your thread!

Check out www.carolinaclubs.com.

My son (8) takes lessons from an instructor who grew up with the family that owns the company. We got him a youth wood baseball bat thru Carolina Clubs - and they have ALWAYS been fantastic to work with. They looked for a 'light' piece of timber, and made my son a -8 bat (& -9 bats for his friends as presents). Can also pick the color and personalization too! Really can't go wrong working with Carolina Clubs! Karen and Tom will treat ya right ;-)
