Well you all know I love Combat, well my son just cracked his and while I'm waiting for a replacement I thought we try something new to test and see how it works so I bought him a TPX Triton. Something I notice right away is how long the freaking barrel is, 11.5" for a 30/18. Compared to his 9" combat. I just hope it's compares withthe combat.

Not sure about the bubble zone thing but was told from the rep that it transfer the vibration to the barrel for added pop

WOW ... that's a bid step for you ... Mr. Combat. I love the idea ... good for your son.

Now let here it ... is it broke in yet ? How's the Pop... is the sweet spot actually that big ! I can't believe it. It is legal, Right ?

We played a game last week ( April 29th ) it was 44 degrees ..wild chill about 38. My son asked my about his comp bat and it being cold. (The bats was cold to the touch )
I told him the truth, that if it shatters that we would most likely not get a warranty bat because of how the warranty says not to use it when it's cold outside.
He switched to a Metal Alloy Stealth. But switched back next game. ( Yeah he got his hits )

Please reply about that 2009 bat !!!

Well bp and game went great, however the hit of the night was by me, yes me one handed just to see and not kidding or fish storying went about 250 to 260ft. My son went 2 for 2 both with line shots up the middle. Not bad for his first 30" bat.

I like it so far and well see how it does going forward. Next game Saturday
