Bought a used bat today for $9.95. It's 33 inches long, has a 2 and 3/8 barrel diameter, and has a 15/16" handle diameter. The following info is on the bat:
On knob: 3
Trademark:
Pennant Winner
4 BAGGER
Southern Associated MFGRS
Sideways just beyond the trademark: 659
Farther down barrel:
OFFICIAL

I used the bat on the Hit-a-way today for a while and really like the feel and the slightly narrower handle is nice. I am just curious about what kind of bat it is (LL, softball, or baseball), what kind of wood it's made of, etc. What is the "3" for? How much would it weigh? I get about 29 oz, but not a good scale). What is the Southern Associated MFGRS?
