I propose that we all call bat companys and demand swing weights. Basicaly knowing the swing weight will give you an understanding of how balanced/ end loaded a bat is. So if u swing a 32 inch bat and wana buy a new bat, you can get one with the same static weight but swings lighter ( more control ) or heavier ( more distance ).
Relatively baseball and baseball bats are a small market internationally, but big internatonal sports ( golf , tennis ) generate a lot more cash. And both golf and tennis give a swing weight index. Why? because a swing weight tells you how heavy a bat is when you swing it, not when its just sitting there not moving.
