Wat should i do

hey guys i need some help... i play on a travel team and my coach is making everyone retry out. his son was the starting shortstop but i started on the skool team instead of him. i already kno i am the ace pitcher but if i go for shortstop i already kno that he will start his son over me cause he is lik that. i was the starting centerfielder so should i go for shortstop or centerfield??????????/:confused:

Well if you "know" you wont play shortstop...then what's the other logical choice?

I used to play centerfield and then when I started playing high school ball I had to move to second base. I think that if you are secured a spot on the team as the ace pitcher than go for shortstop. If you are that much better than the other kid than maybe you will get the spot and he will have to move. And if you don't, but prove that you are a good hitter, than he will have to put you somewhere else. So basically what I am saying is if you are a good hitter and can't be left out of the lineup, than you might as well try out for SS because even if you don't get the spot you will still play centerfield. You could also play third or second if you still want to play infield. just make sure you hit well enough to where he can't leave you out of the lineup.

Well u guys i would like to tell u that i re-tyed out and i made three plays from behind third base and got a kid out and his son missed the ball almost ever time. He said i would be the starting shortstop and his son is mmoving to second:D !!!!!!!!!!!!
