This is a very good bat. It is end loaded so takes some getting used to. The end load combined with the two thin walls result in longer balls.

The TZXP is the top bat for youth 12 and under. It will out hit the big barrels at this age also. You cannot go wrong with this bat, and Andersons customer service is the tops in the industry as well!

Anderson definitely has a winner with their youth bats. They look good and perform better. Two years ago I bought my son a Nextgen XP and everyone told me I was crazy because Anderson wasn't a "big" name so it couldn't be any good. My son has always had good power but he smashed the home run record for the league that year. This year there were a lot more Anderson bats. Get one and you will not be sad.

What exactly does "end loaded" mean?? This bat has only a minus 9, which seems very heavy. My son is 8 and has been using a Demarini Voodoo 28/16.5. I have been debating over the Catylist 29/16, F3 29/19 and the Tech 29/20. He swings a 28/20.5 Voodoo big barrell in AAU, but for up comiing LL, I wanted to get him the perfect bat. He has a very quick bat with lots of control.
Does the end loaded feature negate the weight drop??
