My son is 5 (will be 6 in December) and he is playing fall ball in a machine pitch league. He is coming from T-ball using a 25/15 cheap bat from Walmart. I cannot even recall the name but it has served him well. We are looking for a good light weight bat for him to start his new league but I dont even know where to begin. I dont think I would want anything over 27/15 or 16 but not sure. I will take him to the store to swing it but sometimes at that age he might want to choose one based on color vs. need so I wanted to narrow his choices before he began. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
PS - I am looking for something reasonably priced. I really do not want to spend $150-200 for a bat. Thanks.
