I had an 08 Rawlings Gold Rush -3 Model BBRSHGD that broke completely in half just at the top of the handle where the alum barrel starts. It broke at a Baseball America showcase game. I had only had it for a month but it was a replacement NO Return bat for a broken Rawlings Plasma Fusion that had the handle slip into the barrel after a ball hit on the end of the bat during a game. Rawlings bats are not very durable.
