Nike Torque or Stealth Comp ????? HELP!!!

Here's my dilemma...to start you off...im 16...started varsity at 3B last year...batted .432 and had 4 homeruns. I'm not a very big guy..at all, im about 6'0 135, but for some unearthly reason i have good pop in my swing that has givin me 2 of my 4 homeruns this year going over our 360 foot sign in left center. I am a good contact hitter, but i would like to have just a little bit more pop, which bat is right for me ???(i also used a 33/30 last year, so weight is not an issue for me)

Go with the Torque, it is probably the best choice if you say you are a contact hitter. Plus you don't have to worry about spending like $380 on the Comp.

The nike torque has much more pop. No one cares about the Stealth Comp compared to the Torque. Why go spend $380 on a bat, when you can go spend what...like $250 on a bat that has a lot of pop and is great for contact hitters. As everyone gets older players start playing you back along the fences. Why would you want a bat that just gives you power to hit it right to the outfielders, when you can you the Nike and hit it in front of the players, in the gaps, or just nice lines drives that will get the job done in stead of paying $300+. But if you want a different, I would go with the exo grid. It is amazing! NO DEMARINI, WORTH, MIKEN,RAWLINGS they are all CHEAP COMPANIES THAT DON'T HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY TO MAKE GREAT BATS LIKE EASTON OR LOUISVILLE OR NIKE. THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO MAKE BATS SO PEOPLE WILL BUY THEM EVEN THOUGH I WOULD RATHER USE A WOOD BAT THAN THOSE. ALL OF THE BATS WILL BREAK... THEY ARE HORRIBLE. GO WITH EASTON, LOUISVILLE OR NIKE!

what are you talkin about !?!? are you serious power bats wont hit the ball RIGHT TO THE OUTFIELDER !!! you can use a power bat like the stealth comp and hit line drives and gapers and also nike bats can be used to hit homeruns as well a bat thats labeled contact or power isnt JUST used for contact or power. you can use a nike bat and hit homeruns or you can use the stealth comp to hit line drives and gapers. and another thing demarini ,worth, miken, and rawling are good bats as well. maybe miken and rawling might make bats with horrible durability but worth and demarini are not "cheap bats" i have an 07 demarini voodoo and its one of the best bats i ever used. and i think its better then the nike !!!! AND EVERY BAT COMPANY DOES HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY TO MAKE GREAT BATS OTHER WISE THEY WOULDNT BE IN BUSINESS AND COLLEGES WOULDNT WANT THERE PRODUCTS. I am sorry but the past few bats that Demarini has made are freak'n horrible, yes the 07 Voodoo is good and so is the 07 vexxum. But don't tell me that Rawlings bats are good and so are miken. No they aren't the bats have horrible durablity, so why would you want to go buy a bat that you know is going to break, and you have to send it back to get the same bat that will probably break. Wait a few more years for those companies and they will find there glitches and make some of the best bats. But for now leave it up to Easton, Louisville, or the Nike torque. And so what about the Beavers winning the National Championship, that was a fluke. And you know who they were playing???????????????????

I know they have horrible durability thats what i said. How was the beavers winning the cws a fluke !?!?!? a team winning something that big and something that took that long to get to doesnt make it a fluke. and Arizona State also uses demarini and they are also a very good team. Now im not sayin easton and louisville and nike arent good even tho nike is all over the place with stuff im just tryin to make a point. Th past Demarini bats were like the first one made, I don't know what it is called... it could be the first vexxum, but it was black and has like a purpleish, pinkish color. Yeah the Beavers did win the CWS, but I think it was luck. And I love ASU, every spring I go there for a couple weeks on vacation and watch them play. But what would you rather go with The Stealth Comp, Exo, or the Nike Torque? Is the Nike Torque really good or should I spend $330 or more to get a stealth or exo? Or should I go buy the 07 demarini Voodoo?

oh are you serious. do you go to packard stadium or some other training facility ? It depends. I dont think the stealth comp is worth all that money, dont get me wrong its a great bat but its way to muuch. I dont like the exo too much cuz i dont like louisville slugger all together. i stick to easton and demarini. But the nike bat is good, the grip is awesome. i bought both the nike and the 07 voodoo to test them out. I kept the voodoo because i liked how it performed better. plus the nike has a reaalllly long handle which looks akward, but thats just what i think.

I would personally pick a demarini bat becuase they are heck'a good. but go with the torque!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The exo is really good with durability, pop, and feel. comp is definitely not worth it. I don't know about voodoo but I am getting the Nike. The black torque handle doesn't look as long as the handle on the strobe and the orange torque.;)

Yeah, I agree about the stealth being too much!!! It's almost 400 frick'n dollars! But I had never used a TPX until this winter ( the blue and orange Dynasty ) I really didn't like it... so I sold it. I have never really been a fan of TPX bats, But if you had to choose which one would you use? The Exo Grid, 07 Voodoo, or the Nike Torque? And what the hell what si this that someone is a little woman? WHAT? The Nike torque even in the picture looks like it has kind of a small barrel and a long handle. I am also not to fond of Nike bats... My dad says they are like ****! So my choice is really the 07 demarini or the Exo Grid.WHICH ONE SHOULD I BUY? I don't really know the prices off hand so which one is also better in price, pop, durability etc?

Yes, Packard Stadium is amazing and the weather is soo nice and there bullpen is awesome. It's indoors, right next to the field, and there are always fans on keeping the place nice and cool! GO ASU!

Yeah, same here about tpx, i just dont think they made anything good until they came out with the exo-grid. I would choice voodoo just because ive had good experiance with that brand. Second would be the exo, i hear nothing but good things about that bat but its a little too expensive for me. Yeah the nike bat has a smaller barrel, its a 2 5/8 its just shorter, and the handle is sooo long its ridiculous, i noticed it when i saw miami, and north carolina play and i thought it was just the camera distance or something then i bought it and saw it was the bat. So a long orange handle, shorter barrel wasnt what i was lookin for.

The voodoo has very very good pop, it sounds like wood when you hit, like the stealth comp, but it will fllyy !!!! and durability wise i havent had it long enough to see, i used it for about 8 games but i love it.
I havent had any exprerance with the exo, ive seen kids that we play against use it but ive never used it in action. But if you really cant decide order both feel them, swing them and keep the one you like better. cause thats what i did with the voodoo and torque and i was really thinkin i was going to get the torque but i decided against it and its workin out great so far, or if you dont want to order them find a store that has both then go from there.

the exo is 340 most places but ive seen a place that has it for 320.
and the voodoo is 290..also expensive but worth it !!!!!

the torques barrel is shorter than most bats but the exo also had a shorter barrel compared to other bats. They are both great balanced bats with lots of pop

So what your saying is that I should buy the Exo Grid and the 07 voodoo and swing them or use them? What I thought about doing is finding both bats cheap on ebay and buy them, swing them and sell the one I don't like back on ebay again. But which one feels lighter do you know? If anyone has anythin gto say let me know which is better? The 07 Voodoo or the Exo Grid?

Yeah, thats a really good idea. buying them off ebay then sellin the one you dont like as much. The exo's a little lighter because of the carbon inserts. Which bat do you like better the exo or the voodoo ??

I really like the Exo grid, but I still don't don't which bat I want. I am a contact hitter, but I hit homeruns every once in a while. I don't strike out alot. And I ususally like the lighter bats. But i will decide later. My friends have exos ( there on vacation ) and they love them so I will prob go with that. But like I said... I don't know!

yeah, if you are a contact hitter who likes light bats, go with the exo. huge pop in light, controlled feel. perfect for a contact hitter with pop.:) ;) :)

The best bat for you would be the Nike Torque. I have hit with both of these bats and EA stealth is really top heavy and hard to control. The EA stealth comp has a small sweet spot compared to the Nike Torque. In the college world series there was a lot of smaller guys your size hitting bombs with the Torque. Hope this helps.

I can't use a bat before I buy it, retard. :rolleyes: I bought it at a store because it was really cheap, so I was able to swing it before I bought it, and the feel was the lightest and best of any bat. :cool: There was no way for me to know how good the pop was, other than by what people said, so shut up. :mad: How do you think I should have found out about it, and what bat do you think I should have gotten?

Your trying to tell me that no-one on you team has a nike bat, none of your friends have one so you can test it out? Thats exactly what i did when i thought of getting a bat, its the best thing you can do for yourself when buying a bat. It doesnt matter what i think you should of gotten but, if you like the way the nike bat performs you got lucky.

:rolleyes: Yeah, I guess you're right, but no one had the Nike that I knew. My high school team had a couple stealths, a vexxum, and other things, but I wasn't really looking into any of those. My friend had an exo which I thought was really good, but I didn't really want to pay 350 for one. No one had the voodoo. I borrowed an Air Dynasty from the same friend and used it and liked it, but he had used it a bunch so I didn't really want to buy it from him used, and the only place I could find it was baseballexpress.com, which just made it weird cause noone had heard of it. I see your point, though. The Nike was just soooo cheap I couldn't resist, expecially after the feel was so nice. After next season I'm probably going to get an exo cause it'll be cheaper, or a voodoo. :)

its hard for me to say i have both of them, but these other guys r sayin the stealth cost too much, but i baught it and besides if u r going to be using a -3 bat it is made for highschool and collage so u can use it for a long time.They both hit about the same but the torque has a weird sweetspoton it it is at the end and close to the handle. But the stealth comp. has a huge sweetspot from where the black on the end starts and from the T in stealth. anymore questions just ask me iv had every bat literally.

I would suggest using the Nike Fuse it has the best balance I have ever felt in a bat and a guy like yourself that is on the thinner side for your height should have a lot of success. I had the Easton bat last year and its seams like it flexs too much expecially for a guy with power.
