Is the -10 Combat B1 as end loaded as the Anderson Techzilla?
8yo(9 in March), 4'4", about 75lbs. Do you think a 29", -10 B1 would be too much? Would the added speed with a -12 offset the increased weight of the -10 at contact?
Just looking for some thoughts to help my head spin a little faster.
Thanks,
Tim

The feel between a 2008 Techzilla 29/20 and a 2008 Combat Virus YB 29/19 is very very minimal. My son can tell virtually no difference.
My son is 8, a little bigger than your son at 4-6 and about 85 pounds. His bat speed varies between 50-55 mph, but I think with this size of bats he will be able to use them through 2008, at least.

my son is 9 yrs old and he is 5'2" 130 lbs and he is swinging the 30 inch 18 oz B1. His bat speed allows his mechanics to work in sync. He has swung a 29-19 big barrel and he was always behind out on his front foot. He was working too hard to get the head of the bat out there. In my experience bat speed at the correct weight will give the hitter enough mass to maximize the ball speed off the bat. For him it is a 30-18. That is something from our experience that you might consider. I have seen players smaller than him hit further so each player has different needs.
