My son is 9 and is about 4'5" and 90lbs. he has swung evrything from an Easton Z-core, Omha xs, and this past season he started with a 30" vexxum but complained about the sting if he didn't hit it right on the sweet spot. He has finished this year using a F2 29".
I am debating I just bout him the EASTON STEALTH COMP CNT -11 LCN4 30in/19oz.
I read an article saying how a coach didn't believe in the lighter weighted bats, but to end the article he said that he spent an average of $750 a year on hitting instruction.
My question is any input on the newest bat and how many of you take lesson?

if u take lessons u r probably going to be a good hitter unless u flat out suck. some people dont do hitting lesson but still hit very well. a bat wil help enhance that skill if u but that bat has to be the pefect size . and the newest and greatest bats out there are the steath comps.
