Rock Bats

RockBats were developed in 2002 by a Research Engineer from the USDA Forest Products Laboratory in Madison, Wisconsin - the National Wood Research Laboratory of the Forest Service.  Based on wood science and technology, RockBats conducts tests to locate and identify the actual sweet spot location on the barrel of every bat.  Creators of FORCE Technology (TM), RockBats take advantage of the optimal strength orientation of Hard Maple -  Face-Oriented Robust-Contact Energy.  Although not necessary, the model RB was submitted to the University of Massachusetts - Lowell for BESR testing, and it performed at 94.96 mph, which was just 2 mph below the 97 mph legal limit for METAL wood bats.  Offered in 4 models: the original model RB  (similar to the M110 handle, with a C243 shape), the model RB7  (similar to the traditional C271), the model RBX  (similar to the big knob C331 design), and the model RBD, which is designed for maximum Durability and Balance.   The model RBD comes with a 30-day no-breakage guarantee - the only solid-wood bat model in the industry that comes with such guarantee.  RockBats are certified for Major League Baseball.
