Rawlings Bats
In 2011 Rawlings continues to develop their highly-touted 5150 line of bats, including the top of the line 5150 Exogrid with Ph.D (passive hybrid damping) technology. Rawlings baseball bats have grown in popularity in recent years, as the company that is most well know for their top of the line baseball gloves has increased their presence in the baseball bat market.
Rawlings baseball bats are available for almost every level of play and price. Aluminum and composite bats from Rawlings start at less than $30 and extend up to $379. The 2011 Rawlings 5150 Exogrid baseball bat features the latest form of Exogrid technology and is optimized for feel and performance, according to Rawlings. This 5150 Exogrid model sells for $299.
While Rawlings puts the focus on the 5150 Exogrid, 5150 Alloy and 5150 Composite series of bats, several Rawlings models have been phased out for 2011, including the Rush Lite and Plasma lines of bats.
