Old Hickory Bats

The Old Hickory Bat Company specializes in professional quality maple and ash bats, not hickory bats, as the name might suggest. The company promotes their "extensive sanding process" and the fact that they only purchase #1 grade maple as the reasons behind that quality of their bats.

Most of Old Hickory’s bat business comes from custom orders: they cut and finish bats to order. Old Hickory does, however, keep a selection of rock maple bats already finished and cupped in stock. See their website for more details on what they have in stock at any given time.

In 2011, Old Hickory continues to offer their line of Custom Pro bats - premium, custom-made bats that are crafted to your exact specifications. All of Old Hickory’s Custom Pro bats are made from #1 Grade Rock Maple and top grade Northern White Ash.
